Coming to iPhone, iPad and Mac.

A calm little world for big imaginations.

Funbow is a coloring and creativity app for children. Gentle, playful, quietly educational, and a little bit magic. No ads, no accounts, and nothing that tugs at small sleeves.

  • No accounts and no data about your child
  • No ads and no attention tricks
  • Quietly educational

Why we made it

We are parents, and we wanted a different kind of app.

Most apps for children are built to hold attention. Loud sounds, streaks, endless rewards, one more tap. We went the other way on purpose. Funbow is calm, tasteful, genuinely fun, and sneakily educational. It never begs to be opened, and it is happy to be put down, like a good box of crayons.

Less dopamine, more delight.

  • No accounts and no data about your child.Artwork stays on your device and in your own iCloud; we never see it.
  • No ads and no attention tricks.Nothing blinks, nags, or counts a streak.
  • Quietly educational.Little lessons and gentle guidance hide inside the fun.

One world for every age

Creativity has no age bands.

Every Funbow mascot is made of shapes any child can draw. Circles, triangles, blobs, and one brave squiggle. That is the point. We never lock, hide, or dumb anything down by age. A two year old and a nine year old meet the same friendly world. We guide, we never gate.

  • Fox
  • Bear
  • Cat
  • Owl
  • Rabbit
  • Panda

Ways to play

Interactive, educational, and quite a lot of fun.

Five gentle ways into the same world. The app suggests the way that fits your child, and never hides the rest.

  1. Colorfill it in
  2. Tracefollow the line
  3. Match the dotsjoin the numbers
  4. RevealRub or tap the page to find the picture hiding underneath.
  5. Doodledraw your own

Magic

A few typed words become a brand new coloring page.

Your child whispers an idea to the app, and the painter gets to work. A new page appears, drawn in Funbow's own hand, ready to color. Every page is checked to be safe for children before it is shown, and nothing about your child is collected along the way.

Wondrous, and wholesome. Grown-ups set the limits.

  • “a baby dragon”

  • “a castle in the clouds”

  • “a tractor with wings”

No spinners here. While Magic works, your child watches the fox paint at the easel, and a tiny lesson drifts by underneath. Even waiting is gentle.
